Recently Andrew and Angus visited the Barossa Cellar to host an inhouse tasting of Barossa wines. We are thrilled that The Grower GSM has been so highly awarded by the team.

Meta Grenache Blanc - 92 points 

 

Pale green gold. Beautifully fragrant, apricot, banana, elderflower and honey richness. Dry and mouth-filling, topical fruits with an al dente texture and high-pitched acidity. Attractive phenolic grip captures a honeyed finish with good length.

 

 

Meta Shiraz 2021 - 92 points

 

Deep crimson. Intense liquorice / aniseed dark berry aromas with herb garden notes. Generous blackberry liquorice flavours and loose-knit chalky tannins. Savoury firm finish with her / aniseed notes.

 

 

The Grower Shiraz 2021 - 93 points

 

Medium crimson. Intense dark cherry mulberry, strawberry red liquorice aromas with graphite notes. Smooth richly flavoured with mulberry, strawberry, dark cherry fruits, fine lacy tannins and underlying savoury notes. Finished peppery and long.

 

 

The Grower GSM 2021 - 96 points

Medium deep crimson, intense blackberry, musky plum hint strawberry aromas with charcuterie notes. Seductive plate with fresh buoyant dark berry meaty flavours, chocolaty textures, lovely Mid-palate richness and acid line. Lovely fruit complexity, richness flavour and structure.
