• Meta: An abstraction from a well-known concept Handpicked, wild yeast, 82% whole bunch, unfined and unfiltered Fruit source: Bethany 75 year-old vines and Marananga 90 year-old vines Alcohol: 13.5% 325 dozen produced Grenache taking plenty of cues from Pinot here. Pours a medium ruby shade, aromatically expressive with sarsaparilla, woody characters from the significant whole bunch portion, and smoky prosciutto and bacon. Palate-wise, it's fine and generous at the same time. Turkish delight, beetroot, rhubarb, cola and more smoky meats, well-articulated through succulent tannins giving pleasing length and fruit persistence through a long finish.  **Tasting notes written by Felix Riley at Felixir Wine ** Download Tasting Note

  • Meta: An abstraction from a well-known concept Hand Picked | Wild Yeast |18% Whole Bunch | Unfined and Unfiltered Fruit source: Stonewell, Light Pass, Eden Valley & Vine Vale Alcohol: 14.2% Production: 538 dozen Bottled: 8/6/21 Serious Shiraz here, but with lift and life. Red and black cherry fruits interplay here with spices, tea and wild herbal notes. A little veil of oak too, but all very well in check. Nice richness without being overly so, there's  great presence of tannin on the palate. Indicating that for all its drinkability now it has a long life ahead of it. **Tasting notes written by Christian Canala - Vinify Wine Co** Download tasting Note
  • The family Grenache block on Thiele Road in Bethany remains one of Jason's favourite blocks. The Thiele Road Grenache was the second wine made by Jason Schwarz and celebrates his love of this diverse variety. The gnarled, old vines were planted in 1941 and they produce fantastic fruit. Variety: 100% Grenache Vintage: 2019 Region: Barossa Valley Alcohol: 14.5% Production: 178 dozen Bottled: December 2020 Thiele Road Grenache always displays a thoughtful side to this historic Barossa variety, and the 2019 vintage is no exception
  • Dedicated to all the Growers we work with, whose hard work and dedication to their craft enable us to purchase luscious fruit year after year. The Grower range is a testament to the amazing growers Jason has forged long-term relationships with since 2001. The 2020 vintage of The Grower GSM is a blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro that perfectly showcases the Barossa's most popular red varieties. Vintage: 2020 Region: Barossa Valley Varieties: Grenache 51% Shiraz 46% Mataro 3% Vineyards: Bethany, Vine Vale, Marananga, Hallett Valley, Gomersal, Moppa Alcohol: 14.3% Production: 1323 dozen Bottled: 8 June 2021 Shows the quality of both the vintage and the fruit. Schwarz’s GSM has never been a huge wine but this one is bang on for mid-weight feel. Red plums, strawberries, blueberries and black fruits all in the mix and a really nice firm stoniness to it too. Tastes like each part of its G, S and M, the palate is full but not heavy, nice and smoky with just enough heft behind the fruit. **Tasting notes written by Christian Canala - Vinify Wine Co** Download Tasting Note

Tasting note: Concentrated and inky dark, with ironstone, black cherry and cedar. Proper Barossa Shiraz with very punchy aromatics, showing sweeter fruits once shown some air. Soft and pliant on the palate, nice sweet black fruits in the mix with plenty of Barossa's signature fleshy texture. *Tasting notes written by Christian Canala from Vinify Wine Co*
