• Introducing the newly labeled Shiraz. Dedicated to all the Growers we work with, whose hard work and dedication to their craft enable us to purchase luscious fruit year after year. The Grower range is a testament to the amazing growers Jason has forged long-term relationships with since 2001. Vintage: 2019 Region: Barossa Valley Vineyards: Vine Vale, Bethany, Marananga, Stonewell, Hallett Valley, and Light Pass Alcohol: 14.3% Production: 1833 dozen Bottled: 3 July 2020
Tasting note: This year's newly labeled Grower Shiraz is a thrilling release. The full spectrum of Barossa Shiraz's aromatic capability is here on show, from scorched earth, bitter couverture chocolate, just-dried raisin, sweet red licorice, and cola bean, all heady, defined, and un-wound for all to see. Here. the fine line between luxurious fruit and energy is walked gracefully, its warming and full-blooded nature tethered by lifted acidity. *Tasting notes written by Christian Canala from Vinify Wine Co*

  • This Shiraz, from 400 vines planted in 1881 is Barossa history in a bottle. Hand-picked from the vineyard still managed by the sixth-generation of the Schiller family, only 2100 bottles have been produced. An intensely dark coloured Shiraz with a complex array of aromatics - black cherry and dark plum, star anise and cinnamon framed around well managed French oak. "Innately complex with nuances of spice and earth to the ripe red-plum and berry aromas here. The palate has deep blueberry, spiced-biscuit and fig flavors. Long, soulful tannin structure. Ripe, long finish. From a parcel of just 400 vines, planted in 1881. Drink or hold. Screw cap." Nick Stock, Suckling (4 Stars, 92 points)
An opulent wine showing the hallmarks of very well handled old-vine Barossa Shiraz, the thing that strikes about the 2018 Schiller is the mass of savoury, roasted meat characters, spices and black plum with aniseed and a run through of vanilla milk chocolate. Certainly up to the ageing task, though this year the Shiller is particularly approachable on the palate, the tannins openly knit, weaving together plenty of sweet dark fruit *Tasting notes written by Christian Canala at Vinify Wine Co* Download tasting notes
  • GOLD MEDAL 2020 BAROSSA WINE SHOW! Introducing the newly labeled GSM Dedicated to all the Growers we work with, whose hard work and dedication to their craft enable us to purchase luscious fruit year after year. The Grower range is a testament to the amazing growers Jason has forged long-term relationships with since 2001. The 2019 vintage of The Grower GSM is a blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro that perfectly showcases the Barossa's most popular red varieties. Vintage: 2019 Region: Barossa Valley Varieties: Grenache 52% Shiraz 42% Mataro 6% Vineyards: Bethany, Stockwell, Moppa, Marananga, Hallett Valley, Light Pass and Vine Vale Alcohol: 14.3% Production: 979 dozen Bottled: July 2020 "A deep and purposeful nose, opening with cherry liqueur, licorice and violet with dustings of cocoa powder and a little brambly fruit. Mataro plays a supporting role, injecting a little grunty savouriness that’s in tune with the overall supple nature of this year’s GSM. The palate is all supple tannins, perky fruit flavour and signs off with a little marzipan kiss" **Tasting notes written by Christian Canala - Vinify Wine Co** Download Tasting Note
  • Meta: An abstraction from a well-known concept Hand Picked | Wild Yeast |16% Whole Bunch | Unfined and Unfiltered Fruit source: Stonewell, Light Pass, Hallet Valley & Eden Valley Alcohol: 14.2% Production: 394 dozen Bottled: 19/6/20 "Barossa Shiraz playing to the tune of Northern Rhone Valley. This is lead with savoury spices, soy, salted caramel and blackberries that opens out to black cherry and a little sambuca. Fascinating palate, granular nuances and stacks of fruit, but it’s light on its feet and ready for action. It feels compact. It feels good. Like it’s only going to show you everything if you look for it. A thinking wine." **Tasting notes written by Christian Canala - Vinify Wine Co** Download Tasting Note
  • The Nitschke Road Shiraz block was planted by my mother and father in 1968 in Bethany near the base of the Eastern Barossa Range. The vineyard is still pruned and picked by hand and the soils of loam over brown and red clays results in a wine of considerable concentration and drive. Rich, opulent fruit is the reoccurring theme with this vineyard and it always seems to show great balance and texture year in, year out. The Nitschke Block Shiraz was the first wine made by Jason Schwarz back in 2001. Variety: 100% Shiraz Vintage: 2018 Region: Barossa Valley Alcohol: 14.3 % Production: 434 dozen Bottled: December 2019 "This vintage of the seminal Nitschke Shiraz no doubt showed the exceptional quality of 2018 Shiraz. A display of the purest blood-plum and black cherry, with cracked black peppercorn and streaky bacon over some seriously fine oak. Some subtle herbaceous qualities, nettle and thyme bring life to an otherwise immense nose. Very juicy on the palate, deeply flavoursome, long and with mouth-coating tannin for a very textured, very focussed Barossa classic" *Tasting notes written by Christian Canala at Vinify Wine Co* Download tasting notes
