 Medium crimson. Intense dark cherry, mulberry, strawberry liquorice aromas with graphite notes. Smooth and richly flavoured with mulberry strawberry, dark cherry fruits, fine lacy tannins and underlying savoury notes. Finished pepper and long.

Brightness plus though has some flesh on its bones, leaps out the glass with roasted beetroot, blood plums, cherries, and a charcuterie/dried meats note. The well-poised palate offers up cola, turned earth, dried orange, cherries and a shake of baking spice. Tannins are fine and have a succulence, a lovely red of mid weight and broad appeal.

 91 POINTS -  The Wine Front - November, 2022 Cherry, spiced strawberry, juniper, a little roasted meat and earthiness. Medium-bodied, gentle grip to tannin, a little bit savoury, a little bit poached juicy berry, some blood orange flavour and tang, and a meaty spicy finish of good length.

93 POINTS - Sweetly fruited and immediately appealing, the wine shows dark plum, spiced cherry,
