The family Grenache block on Thiele Road in Bethany remains one of Jason’s favourite blocks. The first vintage of the Thiele Road Grenache was made by Jason Schwarz in 2002 and celebrates his love of this diverse variety.

The gnarled, old vines were planted in 1941 and they produce fantastic fruit.

Nitschke Block Shiraz holds a unique place in the family's heart, as it was planted in 1968—the same year Jason's parents were married. This special wine captures the essence of the family's history and legacy, with its rich and well-structured character. A subtle elegance intertwines with elements of old and new oak, creating a remarkable drinking experience that speaks to the craft of Jason's winemaking journey.

We have made a limited number of The Schiller Shiraz Magnums available. 

The Schiller Shiraz is a wine not only rich in flavour but rich in history too. The fruit sourced for this wine comes from the sixth-generation Schiller Family vineyard at Hallett Valley in the Barossa.

After a last-minute reprieve from the bulldozers, the 400 Shiraz vines planted by Carl August Otto Schiller in 1881 are something to be treasured.
