95 POINTS - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
Wonderfully complex and engaging, the bouquet shows dark berry, bay leaf, cured meat and
toasted almond notes, leading to a gorgeously supple palate that's expansive and persistent. Well supported by refined texture and fine-grained tannins, finishing long and structured.
94 POINTS - Dave Brookes, Halliday
Grenache sourced from Bethany and Marananga; wild-yeast ferment, 80% whole bunches, unfined and unfiltered. I'm a big fan of Jason Schwarz's light and airy take on grenache in his Meta wines. Red and dark plum and cherry fruits are joined by hints of raspberry coulis, red licorice, earth, dried citrus rind and orange blossom infused with ginger spice. Light on the tannin and a twang of sapid acidity, sour-cherry style on the exit. Good fun drinking and don't be afraid to pop it in the fridge to take the edge off.

Deep purple-red colour with a raspberry pastille nose, light-medium bodied and easy going, with mild but present tannins, and good early drinkability. Very smart grenache, long on the palate, too.
