The Meta Shiraz fruit is carefully selected from a few vineyards with rocky or hard growing soils. This gives the fruit (and therefore the wine) a brighter, blue fruited and more tightly tannic style.

Growers: this vintage is sourced from ten different growers, across seven sub-regions in the Barossa.

Medium-deep crimson. Lovely ripe blackberry, dark chocolate aromas with chinotto notes. Voluminous and generous with ample dark berry, dark chocolate flavours, find velvety textures and underlying roasted walnut notes. Finished chocolately with mineral notes. Bittersweet wine with plush fruit and fresh acidity.

Wild ferment, unfined and unfiltered. Deep magenta-edged crimson with aromas of dark plum, red cherry, blueberry and mulberry fruits cut with exotic spice, earth, purple flowers, dark chocolate and olive tapenade. Bright and balanced on the palate with a parade of fine, sandy tannins swelling on the mid-palate finishing vital and true.
