Juicy pear and crisp apple flavours are backed by a subtle savoury edge of sea salt and dried herbs, with a little hint of saltbush in the mix too. It’s bright, full of flavour and nicely balanced, with enough freshness and savoury character to keep you going back for another glass.
A mealy nose, cheesy and grapefruity, a bit more aromatic intensity
this release. More texture and palate concentration here also than
previous vintages, nodding to the Old World; wax and lanolin over
yellow apples and grapefruits and an edge of biscuity oak. An
interesting style and true to the grape, will likely reward a medium

It tastes of pears, apples, salt and dried herbs, the latter a touch saltbush-like. It’s satisfying. It fruity but it has a savoury side. It works.
